Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are set in place to protect both you the Consumer and us the Supplier.

1 Before you buy

We are aware that many of our customers know exactly what they want and have no difficulty in making their decision however if you have any concerns about your expectations of equipment capabilities or compatibility issues with existing equipment, please call (01442 292929) or e-mail us (info@red-eye.tv) for clarification. We are delighted to be of service to you and want you to be entirely happy with your purchase.

2 Order Acknowledgement

When you place an order with us you will automatically receive an order acknowledgement via e-mail. The status of you order can be viewed on your unique account which is created the first time you order from us.

3 Stock Status

Most of the items in our on-line shop are in stock. In the event that the item(s) you require are temporary out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail within 24 hours with an expected delivery date. If you are unable to proceed with the order owing to the extended delivery times you are free to cancel the order.

4 Delivery

All deliveries are despatched FREE of CHARGE by a recorded delivery service. A signature will be requested on receipt. In most instances unless otherwise advised, goods will be delivered the next working day for orders received by 16:00 hours. Next day timed delivery can be arranged for a small additional charge. Please contact us for details.

5 Returns

For whatever reason It is advisable to contact us prior to returning any item in order that we may speedily resolve any problem or complaint you may have. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged items during transit. We recommend that all items are suitable packed and insured.

6 Warranty (Faulty goods)

All goods are covered for defects by manufacturers 12 month swap out warranty. You are responsible for returning defective goods to us within 12 months of purchase together with details of the defect. We will endeavour to replace defective items as soon as reasonably possible. If no fault is found we reserve the right to pass on return delivery costs. Please note that the warranty does not cover items which have been subjected to misuse, dropped or otherwise damaged.

7 Cancellation (Distance selling)

If you change your mind after receipt of your order and wish to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 8 working days of receipt of the goods, by e-mail to returns@red-eye.tv, by fax on 01442 292930 or by letter to Proactive UK Ltd at the address given above. We will acknowledge your return request by e-mail, fax or letter and give you details of where to the goods should be sent. Items must be returned as new in their original packaging with all supplied contents included (accessories, manuals, cables etc). All items removed from original packaging for examination must be handled with care and replaced in the manufacturers packaging as they were when received. This must then be suitably packed (either in a separate carton or in protective paper) to avoid transit damage and to protect the manufacturers packaging. The insured cost of return postage will be your responsibility. It is recommended that a recorded delivery service is used. If preferred, we can arrange for the item to be collected, however the cost of collection will be deducted from the refund. All refunds will be made within 30 days of when we receive your notice of cancellation. We are however usually able to issue refunds within 48 hours for items returned to our warehouse.

We regret that unless items are certified as faulty, refunds cannot be made in the following circumstances:-

- the item has been opened and used
- any product security seal opened or removed

This clause applies to Consumer sales only. It does not apply to business transactions.

8 Contract and Law

When making purchases through this on-line shopping facility you are entering a legally binding contract which is governed by English law.

9 Delivery

Delivery is free of charge.

We are able to deliver to most countries in the world. Shipment is dispatched via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by one of our contracted Courier companies. For

UK orders placed before 16:00 we aim for next-day delivery. Our next-day service is ONLY available on items which are in stock at our warehouse. A signature will be requested on receipt.

Please note that next day delivery does not include delivery on the weekends. If you require delivery over the weekend, please contact us for a quotation. Standard delivery for orders placed on a Friday will be the following Monday.

Upon receipt of your order, please ensure that the device is in good working order. If there are any apparent faults, you are entitled to return the product as described in clause 4.

Damage in transit: Please check your package upon arrival. If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note before the driver leaves and you must inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of goods as shown on the packing note on the box. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note before the driver leaves and you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please note that Proactive UK Ltd will not be liable in the event of late or non delivery. If you are not at home when delivery is attempted a card will be left by the courier company, a second attempt will be made on the next working day. We will endeavour to assist you in contacting the courier company to arrange redelivery or collection from their depot, we are however unable to redirect to a different delivery address for security purposes. If a second delivery failure is made, the goods will be returned to us. A further charge may then be made for redelivery.  

We will attempt delivery to you under most circumstances however we cannot be held liable for non delivery in the event of war, riots, civil disturbances, fire, strikes, accidents and in the event that we find it impossible to obtain supplies.

Please note that for security reasons delivery is to card/account holder's address only.
